Meet the New Manager at Haddington

To introduce Leigh to the service who is the new Home Manager at Haddington Care Home, we had a meet-the-manager relative meeting & resident event. Leigh spoke about her background of nursing in acute surgical care in a hospital, previously a Deputy Care Home Manager, Specialist Practitioner District Nurse and now back in Care Home Management and Leigh is delighted to be here! 

This gave our relatives & residents the opportunity to meet with Leigh, ask questions both professional and personal, offer feedback and opinions, and build relationships. Relationship building has already been happening organically with residents and Leigh on a daily basis.  

Leigh is passionate about people, ensuring Haddington Care Home's residents are well cared for and staff continues to be engaged, motivated and developed to deliver gold-standard care, and our relatives are encouraged to be involved in the community of our home too. Leigh is very excited about what is to come for Haddington.

Following the meeting, we spoke about introducing a wishing tree where our residents can place a wish on the tree no matter how big or small and we will start to make wishes come true!
