Residents on the second level of our nursing home receive the best care possible at all times of the day and night. You may rest assured that all of your care and well-being needs are met in rooms equipped with unique features like profiling beds, hoists and nurse call systems.

Residential Care

Residential care is provided to people who thrive in a communal setting rather than on their own or their family’s home, assisting those who are having difficulty with everyday activities or maintaining their personal care. Residential care is a comprehensive care service that offers residents the appropriate assistance they need to feel comfortable and content.

Our staff can assist with duties such as washing, dressing, medication administration, and mobility. Residents who choose residential care can treat Haddington Care Home as their own and live every day the way they wish to, taking advantage of the many services and amenities provided for an active social life.

Respite Care

Respite care is a short-term care alternative that offers temporary breaks from primary caregivers. Whether someone has had a fall or is recovering from an illness, Haddington Care Home is here to help reduce stress and concern.

Respite care is also an appropriate option for someone looking to move into our home and would like a trial stay before committing to the permanent move. No matter how long someone stays with us, all residents receive only the highest-quality respite care until they feel more like themselves again.

Dementia Care

Dementia is a common long-term neurological condition that impacts a person in a variety of ways, including memory, thinking and social abilities. Those living with dementia can continue to live their lives to the fullest with the correct care and attention, participating in dementia-friendly activities on a daily basis. Our goal in caring for our residents is finding the balance between providing support while also encouraging independence.

At Haddington Care Home, we understand that no two people are the same, and that some people living with dementia may only require minor assistance while others significantly more. However, we will continually assess residents to ensure the correct level of care is always provided.
