Residents Holding Trust Signs

A Week of Celebrating Trust at Haddington

Trust is one of Haddington Care Home's core values. It’s a value that underpins everything we do for our residents, their loved ones and our team members. This week we have been engaging in lots of activities that help us explore what trust means to each of us. We have had great fun baking and decorating ‘trust’ cakes, taking part in arts and crafts day and having some great conversations about what the word means to each of us as individuals.

One of our residents said that “trust to me is trusting the people that care for me”, which really is a beautiful sentiment and something we will continue to strive towards at Haddington Care Home. Other residents told us that it’s the trust they have in their God, in their friends and family members, and in each other that makes them realise how important trust is. Another one of our residents told us that it’s the trust they put in the food they eat and the trust they have in those dealing with their finances that helps them define exactly what the word means to them.

At Haddington Care Home we pride ourselves on providing a warm, safe and familiar environment where every resident is supported to enable them to lead an enriched lifestyle. Having and developing a high level of trust with one another enables our residents and their loved ones to feel confident and secure knowing that they are receiving the very best in person-centred care from our dedicated team.
