Situated on the banks of the River Tyne in the Royal Burgh of Haddington, a small popular market town in East Lothian, our residential care home offers exceptional levels of Nursing Care, Respite Care, Palliative Care, Residential Care and Dementia Care. Built in 2018 and spread across three floors, our Haddington care home has all of the home comforts you would expect from a luxury facility, with a real attention to detail when it comes to meeting each resident’s individual needs.

Every day is different here at our nursing home. Entertainers visit regularly and we hold coffee mornings and fundraising events within the home. In addition to welcoming activities and entertainment into the home, we also support residents to maintain links in the community, by taking trips and visiting local cafés and shops and making the most of what the Haddington area has to offer.

Amisfield Walled Gardens is hugely popular with our residents and their guests. Reachable in under ten minutes via car, is one of the largest walled community gardens in Scotland and boasts extensive herbaceous borders, fruit and vegetable beds, wildflower meadow, orchard and woodland plantings. The woodland and meadow surrounding the garden is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful walk that can be enjoyed alone or with loved ones. Haddington Care Home is lucky to also be positioned close to St Mary’s Pleasance. This stunning walled garden sits adjacent to St Mary’s church and has been carefully designed with plants that reflect the features of a 17th century Scottish garden. This beautiful spot offers plenty of benches for viewing and even the less keen gardeners will find something to marvel at.
