Jubilee Celebrations
We had an absolute ball for the Queen's Jubilee at Haddington. Our home was decorated in patriotic flags, we had a visit from Eddie Raven who performed to residents and staff for the afternoon old school songs from the 50s and 60s, and many games were played throughout the course of the bank holiday weekend.
Staff performed for residents by dancing to the music sung by Eddie Raven which encouraged residents to get up and boogie alongside them.
Our chef and catering team went above and beyond to create an incredible spread of food including a selection of sandwiches, a fruit platter, sausage rolls, cupcakes, scones and of course a large celebratory cake to highlight The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
It was all in all a successful day enjoyed by everyone. We want to say a big thank you to all of our staff who helped to organise this special day for our residents. We look forward to hosting more events in our home soon with a Summer Fair on the 30th of July - more information to come soon.
If you would like to talk to a member of staff about our upcoming events or to find out more about our services at Haddington Care Home, please get in touch today.
