Residential Care

Residential Care is one of the main four care types given to older people who live in a communal setting instead of on their own, supported by a team of care professionals. Residential Care is a full care service that provides people with the support needed to go about their day with ease. Our team is on hand to help with any personal care aid, such as washing, dressing, toileting, medication and mobility. Residents can treat our home as their own, making use of the number of services and facilities available to them.

Dementia Care

Dementia is a degenerative condition that affects the brain in a number of ways, such as the ability to communicate, thought processes and mood. With the right care and attention, those living with dementia can continue to live their life to the fullest, carrying out their much loved hobbies. Our approach to dementia care is to support self-sufficiency for as long as possible. Here at Haddington Care Home, we recognise that every person is different, and while some may only require minimal assistance, others will require much more.
